Tamaulipas Mexico offers some of the best Whitewing Dove, Duck, and Quail hunting in the world with the season running from August to February. Hunting wild bobwhite quail over well trained and handled dogs, finding 15-25 coveys a day, is almost unheard of today but here it’s expected not the exception. The shoreline of Lake Guerrero and adjacent habitat has one of the largest nesting populations of Whitewings anywhere and the surrounding fields hold them through the season. Typically hunters shoot over a case of shells per outing. Hunting & Fishing combos are available during season.
